Kia ora, I'm Alastair Bruerton. a Senior Product Designer with 18+ years’ experience helping teams shape product strategy, simplify complex journeys, and ship work that customers understand. I’m friendly, curious, and collaborative. I care about the team experience as much as the outcome – clear communication, good energy, better delivery.
I work end-to-end (Clarify → Prototype → Validate → Ship → Measure → Improve.) and I love partnering closely with product and engineering to explore options, make smart trade-offs, and land on a clear direction.
Over the last year I’ve been pairing ChatGPT, Cursor, OpenAI and Figma Make with agentic AI to accelerate prototyping, speed up the design loop, and ship real experiments in code.
